Take Me Back To Massachusetts...

This week I've had the beautiful privilege of reading Salem's Fall by Rektok Ross, author of the booktok fav Summer Rental. I'm not even halfway through this book yet, but I keep reaching for it. I have the ARC on my kindle. I can't open any other books. Every free second I get between editing videos and writing my own novel, I'm stuck in Salem's Fall.

James Woodsen is the youngest female associate at the law firm she works at. Her boss is gorgeous, but professional so far. Their firm takes a case of a man being charged with murdering his wife. Damien Blackhollow gives Chuck Bass vibes straight out the gate, which I instantly love.

I'm in chapter 9, and so far there's been so much going on and I'm deeply invested. I love when a book grabs me this fast. Rektok has a great way of pulling you into the drivers seat. I love me a present tense thriller that chugs quickly but not too fast.
